Terms & Conditions

1. Organiser

The Sesh is an event organised by The Bulldog Amsterdam, operating from The Bulldog Palace, Leidseplein 15, 1017 PT Amsterdam, Netherlands ("the Organiser").

By registering for and attending The Sesh, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.

2. Registration

Registration is free of charge and mandatory to attend. All registrations are processed through this platform and are strictly personal and non-transferable, except where a formal transfer is completed through the designated transfer feature on this platform.

Registering for the event does not guarantee entry if the venue reaches its maximum permitted capacity before your arrival. Spots at the door are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Holding a confirmed registration entitles you to priority access, but not unconditional entry.

3. Age Requirement

Entry to The Sesh is strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Valid government-issued photographic identification — such as a passport, national identity card, or driving licence — must be presented at the entrance upon request.

The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who cannot provide satisfactory proof of age, or who appears to be under 18 years of age regardless of identification presented.

4. Right of Admission

The Organiser reserves the right of admission (recht van toegang) in full accordance with Dutch law. Entry may be refused at the sole and absolute discretion of the Organiser or its authorised staff without any obligation to provide a reason.

Refusal of entry does not entitle the affected person to any form of compensation, reimbursement, or damages. The Organiser exercises this right consistently and without unlawful discrimination.

5. Conduct

Attendees are expected to behave in a respectful, lawful, and responsible manner at all times during the event and on the premises of the venue. The Organiser and venue staff reserve the right to remove, without notice, any person who: engages in aggressive, threatening, violent, or antisocial behaviour; fails to comply with reasonable instructions from event staff or security personnel; is visibly intoxicated or under the influence of substances in a manner that poses a risk to themselves or others; or otherwise disrupts the event or the enjoyment of other attendees.

Persons removed from the event for behavioural reasons will not be entitled to any form of compensation.

6. Liability

Attendance at The Sesh is entirely at the attendee's own risk. The Organiser accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property — including but not limited to clothing, electronics, cash, or valuables — during the event or on the venue premises.

The Organiser accepts no liability for personal injury, illness, or death sustained at the event unless directly caused by the proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the Organiser. Attendees are solely responsible for their own transport to and from the venue and for their personal safety throughout.

7. Cancellation and Changes

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify the event at any time and for any reason, including circumstances beyond its control (force majeure).

In the event of a cancellation or material change, registered attendees will be notified by email to the address provided at registration as soon as reasonably practicable. As attendance is free of charge, no financial refund obligation arises from cancellation or postponement.

8. Photography and Recording

By attending The Sesh, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded by the Organiser or its authorised representatives. Such recordings may be used for promotional, editorial, social media, or commercial purposes without further notice or compensation.

If you do not wish to appear in such material, please notify event staff at the entrance prior to entry. Requests will be accommodated where reasonably practicable. Unauthorised livestreaming, audio recording, or video recording of performances, speakers, or other programme elements is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Organiser.

9. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited at The Sesh: unauthorised recording or livestreaming of any performances or programme content; distribution, sale, or promotion of goods, services, or materials without prior written consent from the Organiser; possession or use of weapons, illegal substances, or any items deemed dangerous by event staff; any conduct that is unlawful under Dutch or European law; harassment of other attendees, staff, or performers in any form.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate removal from the event and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms, the event, or your attendance shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Right of Admission

Policy Statement

The Sesh — Right of Admission Policy

The Organiser reserves the right of admission to The Sesh in accordance with applicable Dutch law, including principles derived from the Wet gelijke behandeling (Equal Treatment Act) and general civil law. This policy is applied consistently and without unlawful discrimination on any protected characteristic.

1. Grounds for Refusal

Entry to The Sesh may be refused on any of the following grounds, without limitation: failure to present valid government-issued photographic identification upon request; being under 18 years of age; displaying visibly disruptive, aggressive, threatening, or antisocial behaviour before or upon entry; being visibly intoxicated by alcohol or under the influence of substances in a manner that poses a risk to staff, other attendees, or themselves; the venue having reached its maximum permitted capacity; wearing or displaying items associated with prohibited organisations; any other reason at the sole discretion of the Organiser or authorised security staff.

2. No Obligation to Justify

The Organiser and its authorised representatives are not obliged to provide a reason or justification for the decision to refuse entry in any individual case.

This right is exercised in a manner that is consistent, proportionate, and compliant with the Dutch Equal Treatment Act. Refusal of entry will never be based on grounds of race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

3. No Right to Compensation

Refusal of entry does not entitle the affected person to any form of financial compensation, reimbursement, damages, or other remedy.

As attendance at The Sesh is free of charge, no financial claim of any nature arises from a decision to refuse entry, whether that decision was made before, at, or during the event.

4. Enforcement and Removal

The Organiser's security personnel and venue staff are fully authorised to enforce this right of admission policy. Persons who have been refused entry, or who have been asked to leave the event for any reason, are required to vacate the premises immediately and peacefully.

Failure to comply with a removal request may result in the involvement of the Dutch police (Politie) or other relevant law enforcement authorities. The Organiser reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies in such cases.
